Presentation: Unexpected insect damage: How to scout, identify, and manage: Sometimes we don't notice pest damage until long after the culprit is gone. Often times, this is as fruit begins to ripen and it is too late for an intervention. Additionally, these unnoticed pests are unpredictable in regard to whether or not they will be present in the crop and cause damage. During this presentation we will discuss some of the more cryptic pests of vegetables, provide scouting tips and management strategies so that you are prepared if and when they arrive.
