Author Bio
Elizabeth Tobey (she/her) is a farmer, crafter, educator, and co-founder of Bundle Sticks Farm in Harrison County, Indiana. Bundle Sticks is a craft-focused farm, producing materials for wreaths, brooms, baskets, and other high quality craftwork. The farm uses crop-livestock integration for fertility, raising rotationally grazed sheep for meat and fiber, and focuses on building biodiversity with their native plant nursery. Through their nonprofit they also host a variety of educational programs for youth and adults. Elizabeth grew up unschooled on a small family farm in Oregon and her family’s history includes California cattle ranching and Bay-area artists: legacies that live on in her today. She is entering her fourth season growing flowers for fresh and dried use, and sells through a CSA, bouquet-making events, and wholesale to other farmer-florists. She is looking forward to discussing flower production during the panel presentation.
