Calvin Beasley is the third generation owner of Beasley's Orchard located in Danville, IN. Beasley's Orchard grows specialty crops on more than 200 acres, operates a year-round retail market, and hosts a variety of seasonal agritourism events, including fall festivals that are entering their 40th year. Primary crops include strawberries, raspberries, sweet corn, melons, cut flowers, apples, brassicas, and pumpkins. Most crops are grown for a mixture of retail, wholesale, and pick-your-own. Beasley's currently grows 45 acres of apples, of which 32 is grown in high-density systems, all planted since 2019.
