I love growing flowers! Prior to discovering my passion for floriculture I pounded New York City's busy streets, marketing textiles to fashion apparel companies for a large textile mill. Honing my sales skills along with some grit I launched a small cut flower farm in Johnson County: Blooms of Hope Farm. Together with the best farm hand (my husband Joe) floriculture continues to ignite joy in our lives as well as our customers. Our small farm is rather unique as we grow the most amazing blooms for a nonprofit organization: The Hope Gallery where adults with disABILITIES love to learn floral design. Each bouquet is unique and then sold at farmers markets - flowers for a cause!
