Author Bio

Michael Fidler is a MS student in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture at Purdue University. His research is focused on developing recommendations for bedding plants growers interested in producing resilient, high-yielding compact fruiting vegetable plants. He is also conducting research evaluating consumer preferences using an innovative citizen-science approach.  Michael was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and acquired a bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering specializing in machine systems at Purdue University.
