Dr. Kleinhenz is a Professor and Extension Specialist in the Dept. of Horticulture and Crop Science at The Ohio State University (OSU) operating from the OSU CFAES Wooster Campus. Matt also served as a Crops Specialist with Univ of Maine Cooperative Extension before joining The OSU in 1998. Matt collaborates with many to develop research-based information used to enhance the productivity, efficiency, and sustainability of vegetable production systems - including high tunnel-based ones, with which he has more than 20 years of experience. He approaches this process holistically, beginning with identifying key challenges and opportunities and asking how his and others’ expertise can be leveraged to meet them. Today, he will summarize challenges in and steps that can be taken to maintain the productivity of high tunnels soils, i.e., their health. https://u.osu.edu/vegprolab/
